Just released is my chillout/intro remix of Moonbeam‘s track, “First Night”.  Produced in Fall 2008 for exclusively for the HiDef mix compilation as the intro track, this chillout version is finally seeing a single release as part of the 12th release on US electronic music label, New School Recordings.

The 10th release on Tyler Michaud’s label New School Recordings features my track with Austin Azua, entitled “Night Train”. On the remix for this release is young gun Jake Shanahan with a club groover.

Chicago based DJ-Producer Ben Brown makes his debut release on New School with this bass-heavy progressive house single! Entitled “Night Train”, this track is a collaboration with Austin Azua spanning through an interesting hybrid of melodies and low-end bass sounds. Newcomer producer Jake Shanahan provides a straight to the point groove based remix designed to wreck the club.

A brand new Ben Brown remix has been released today on Nine Records.The original is a nice piece of stabby, groovey tech house. My remix goes into a bit of big room progressive house with a focus on the low end and builds. Hope you enjoy.

Ben Brown Remix of The Funky Bastard “Koalas for Breakfast”

The original “Koalas For Breakfast” is an awesome piece of chill house music.. Great guitar work and composition under a nice 4/4 beat.. LOVE this track.

With this remix I wanted to add a little bit  more energy but keep the groove and atmosphere of the original. This remix is a little more uptempo, with a shortened up the bassline for some more drive and added a bit more active percussion and fx to make it purr a litttle more on the dancefloor.  This remix was created exclusively for the HiDef 001 Mix Compilation on Audio Logic
