The indie/new wave band Metric has chosen the Ben Brown remix of their track “Gold Guns Girls” as the the best of the bunch for their Fantasies album remix competition.
Part of the package includes an official release down the road as a part of a remix ‘album’, and a feature download on RCRDLBL.com, which is now UP. (view/download in the link below)
New School Recordings
The 10th release on Tyler Michaud’s label New School Recordings features my track with Austin Azua, entitled “Night Train”. On the remix for this release is young gun Jake Shanahan with a club groover.

Chicago based DJ-Producer Ben Brown makes his debut release on New School with this bass-heavy progressive house single! Entitled “Night Train”, this track is a collaboration with Austin Azua spanning through an interesting hybrid of melodies and low-end bass sounds. Newcomer producer Jake Shanahan provides a straight to the point groove based remix designed to wreck the club.
The Ben Brown remix of Israeli producer Elegant Universe‘s “Modern Time” is out today on frisky records. Expect big room progressive house over the incredible vocal by Adir Ohayon.
Upcoming rockstar Ben Brown provides big floor sensibilities to an already large track. Top Notch talent for a ground-breaking track.

Also included in this first round of remixes is Trafik‘s great remix and dub mix. The second round of remixes comes out in a few months and includes some BIG names from the dance music scene, so keep your eye on frisky.

Max Demand - Roller Coaster
Out now: The Ben Brown remix of Max Demand’s track “Roller Coaster” [Proton] is now available at Beatport.com as an exclusive release. Also included in the release are remixes by Magitman and Paronator.
This release has also been featured in the Progressive House section of beatport.

Jerome’s dub mix has recently been released on Audio Logic Recordings and is currently available for download exclusively from beatport. (click here to check it out). Look for it to come out on iTunes next month as well.
